Meet the scale worms:
Based on a journal article from 2020, this poster describes the genus Peinaleopolynoe, a group of iridescent deep-sea scale worms. This project began with a watercolor spot illustration of P. orphanae, then grew into two posters utilizing digital painting and vector illustration techniques. Special thanks to Dr. Greg Rouse at University of California, San Diego for sharing his research and graciously collaborating with me on this project.
Line work for this diagram was created in Adobe Illustrator, colorized using Photoshop, and labeled using InDesign.
